As soon as the 3rd Ever Crafty Flea Market by Lake Antoine Park Partners and Newspapers in Education wrapped up at the start of September, Dickinson County projects began. Here are the trenches on sites 1-15 and 20-30 along the streetside for upgraded electric; it is Phase 2 of the project. Phase 1 was completed in time for campers in June 2020. The removal of stumps from trees blown over in a series of storms several years ago began. Here some are shown being removed in the center field by the beach road. Lake Antoine Park Partners appreciates the county-funded workmanship on improving the campground and park.

All 72 sites sold out for the 2020 Crafty Flea Market at Lake Antoine Park in Iron Mountain. The Crafty Flea Market offers an outdoor shopping venue for a wide variety of crafts, homemade goods and other items. The market is a fundraising effort by The Daily News’ Newspapers in Education, or NIE, and Lake Antoine Park Partners that benefits both non-profit programs.
Concessions this year were offered through New Hope Church, which served burgers, hot dogs, fries and cheese curds, plus beverages. Thank you to all that enjoyed the day at the park and those who volunteered their time and efforts to make this years Crafty Flea a success! We are so thankful for the Dickinson Area Community Foundation grant that allowed us to purchase dog waste stations for Lake Antoine Park! There are three stations located throughout the park; one by the kiosk near the east entrance, one by the large parking lot at the north end of the park, and one by the south entrance/exit. Please enjoy the park responsibly!
