We are so thankful for the Dickinson Area Community Foundation grant that allowed us to purchase dog waste stations for Lake Antoine Park! There are three stations located throughout the park; one by the kiosk near the east entrance, one by the large parking lot at the north end of the park, and one by the south entrance/exit. Please enjoy the park responsibly!
Our board members have reorganized into new positions since some of our terms came due. Please click the file below to view our current positions!
Paddle board, kayak, and cruiser bike rentals are available for reservation through True North Outpost online at www.truenorthoutpost.com! You can enjoy the lake and park with added fun this summer, thanks to TNO! They will also be offering concessions at the park too! Reserve your outdoor play equipment and grab a snack to go at the concession stand in Lake Antoine Park!
The electrical upgrade has begun! Dickinson County has hired Brookes Electric to install a new 50 amp system to better serve our campers!
The wellspring project is complete. The water source has been raised, and a safe access built. Thank you TJP GENERAL CONSTRUCTION! Moisture-loving plants are now growing next to the pump house. We added gravel to level the access way, a bench for a quick rest, and an infographic that explains what an artesian well is and how it works.
The retaining wall is finished! The goal for the retaining wall is to keep the lawn from encroaching onto the beach. There was a retaining wall on the beach in the past, but it was removed instead of being repaired. Overtime, we had lost much of the beach. We also hope that the retaining wall will help deter the geese from en-crouching.
We widened the beach to 25’, added fresh sand, and cleared out all of the weeds growing in the sand. The retaining wall will be low - a sitting wall. Just high enough to discourage the geese and maintain a clean separation between the lawn and the beach. We also made the beach accessible to people with mobility challenges.
We are excited about preserving the beach for generations to come. Many people and businesses have donated to help make this a reality! Thank you to all!
