In June, we started Movies in the Park again, which is always a crowd favorite! We hosted 8 movies throughout the Summer on Saturday evenings. We sell concessions and our merch to raise money for our organization. The movies were graciously sponsored by local community members/businesses. Carrie Toretta-Partello donated our bigger and better popcorn machine!
August we hosted a Free Fishing Family day! It was a rainy day at Pavilion 2 but the kids didn't care! The Watersmeet Trout Hatchery set up a large swimming pool stocked with fresh trout. The kids were able to catch and keep the trout they caught. It was a really great time thanks to Northern RV for sponsoring the event!!
In September we had our annual Crafty Flea, where crafting vendors set up shop in the campsites to sell their homemade goods for the day! Crafty Flea is sponsored by The Daily News in Education. This event draws in hundreds of people throughout the day.
In October we hosted our second Fall Fest! It was SUPER windy but such a great day! People enjoy trunk or treating, scavenger hunts, games, story stroll, and bounce houses! The Curious Pig was our food vendor and did an amazing job as always.
November through December we set up Lights at the Lake. Our annual lighted display that people can drive through and enjoy during the holiday season! The campsites are "bought" and decorated. The monies raised goes towards our organization to help make improvements at the park.
